The workshop will be a discussion on engaging stakeholders in meaningful ways to encourage participation, gain constructive feedback and guidance, and ultimately generate change on the landscape. This session will feature the Natural Resource Conservation Service's (NRCS’s) Local Working Group meetings held across the state in 2017.  It will also describe the success of Sussex County Municipal Utility Authority and Wallkill River Watershed Management Group in engaging everyone from dairy farmers to local businesses to students of all ages in their mission to steward the watersheds of Sussex County, NJ. Participants will walk away with insights and a “to-do” list of how to collaborate with the people that matter most.
